Pharaoh’s Island (Coral Island)
Pharaoh’s Island is a small island that stands surrounded by Taba’s turquoise lagoon and rich reef life. This site offers 4 different dives but is also perfect for a family day out even with non-divers. Also known as Coral Island due to the tiny granite atoll surround by coral reefs. The Picasso Reef is an underwater mountain that descends to huge table corals. At around 12m you will find yourselves surrounded by numerous colourful fish such as the famous Picasso Triggerfish.
Fjord
This rare coastal feature in the Red Sea is perfect for divers and snorkellers. It is well known for its 27m well with a bright red anemone. Situated in a bay along the coast, above water scenery is just as remarkable as that below. Large ridges of hard corals provide a home to numerous fish. The pinnacle at the edge of the well is where you will see jacks, cornet fish and hopefully a resident frogfish.
Topaz and Coral City
Suitable for a novice diver this gorgeous coral slope starts at 15m and finishes at 30m in a big sandy valley. You will spot various fish such as Angel Fish, Big Groupers, Blue Trigger Fish, Moray Eels and Sting Rays.
El Muqabila
This site makes an interesting dive for the intermediate diver to Taba. A gentle slope filled with coral and coral knolls. You will find a variety of fish with few currents. Look out for the yellow-tailed barracuda, giant puffers, blue spotted rays and turtles can often be seen. For the more experienced diver head south-east of this amazing site.
